DBT is an amazing treatment modality created by Marsha Linehan in the 1980's as the 'gold standard' treatment for Borderline Personality Disorder. We know now that DBT is actually extremely beneficial for people struggling in general with managing emotions whether through common mental health disorders, life transition/change and trauma.

But, over time, we have learned that DBT is effective in teaching and applying coping skills for ANY client struggling with managing emotions
